AUSTIN, TX (September 4, 2014) – – BonusMX is excited to announce the full program schedule for the 2014 BonusMX@ATX, a creative leadership conference featuring some of the biggest names in Mexico in the worlds of culture, entertainment, and fashion. Panelists and keynote speakers include representatives from the City of Austin, LatinWorks, Univision, the Institute of Entrepreneurship in Mexico, the Department of Urban Studies at MIT, and Electronic Arts, along with musicians and many more.
The conference will take place over three days, September 11 at Hotel Ella and September 12 and 13 at the AT&T Executive Education and Convention Center. Making its inaugural debut in Austin, BonusMX@ATX aims to empower growth in the creative sector while promoting social, cultural, and economic development between the United States and Mexico. The conference will focus on an array of topics including advertising and marketing, architecture, design (product, graphic, and fashion), film, photography, IT, gaming, animation, computer science, publishing, and music.
BonusMX@ATX will kick off Thursday night with a special cocktail reception on the porch of Hotel Ella. Both Friday and Saturday will be full of daytime panel discussions and keynotes including such notable speakers as Ilana Sod, Ricardo Álvarez, Ana Luisa Fajer, Mario Valle, Enrique Jacob and Josh Kun. Following the panels on Friday and Saturday, guests are encouraged to unwind in the social networking reception and shop the Mexican design market “La Pulga.” This high-end design market will feature some of best designers from Mexico that will also be participating in the conference, such as fashion designers Carla Fernandez, Guillermo Vargas and jewelry designers Varón and Rebecca Noel. All this will be accompanied by a DJ set from special guest.
Two-day conference passes for BonusMX-ATX are available now for $150, and single-day passes are $90. Conference passes grant access to the following events:
- “Welcome Reception” with complimentary bites and cocktails at Hotel Ella (Thursday)
- Panel sessions at the AT&T Executive Education and Convention Center Amphitheater (Friday and Saturday)
- “La Pulga” Designer Expo at the AT&T Executive Education and Convention Center Amphitheater (Friday and Saturday)
- Film screening at the AT&T Executive Education and Convention Center Amphitheater (Friday evening)
- Concert at the AT&T Executive Education and Convention Center Courtyard
Student passes are also available for a reduced rate of $40 and include access to the day sessions and high-end design market “La Pulga.” Patrons interested in only attending “La Pulga,” held Friday and Saturday, may purchase tickets at the door for only $5.
