AUSTIN, Texas – Austin Aztex will be going head to head against Seattle Sounders 2 for their last home game of the regular season Saturday, September 5th at 7:30p. This will be fans last chance to see their Austin Aztex this year and they are hoping for a big crowd to finish their season! So, for their regular season home finale they will be hosting a Youth Sports Appreciation Night Presented by Big Red Soda to give free entry to youth sports participants to this game.
All youth sport participants 18 and under wearing their jersey will receive a free general admission ticket to the match. There are limited quantities available, so tickets can be reserved in advance at http://www.austinaztex.com/bigred. All unredeemed tickets will be available at will call at the game.
“Austin is a very active city and that couldn’t be truer when you look at all of the youth sport teams in the community,” Austin Aztex CEO Rene Van De Zande said. “We wanted show our appreciation by inviting all organized youth sports out to an Aztex game.”
Along with Youth Sports Appreciation night, the Aztex players will be wearing special edition pink jerseys in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. They will be auctioning off their jerseys with the proceeds benefitting Komen Austin and the Aztex Soccer Foundation.
With their new temporary move they are offering free rides to ticket holders on Capital Metro’s MetroRail service for the remainder of their 2015 regular season home games. The team will have shuttles taking fans from the Lakeline MetroRail Station to the game and will shuttle fans back after the game ends. The games are family-friendly and offer a unique game day experience with live music, various delicious food trucks for concessions curated by @FoodTrucksATX, activities for kids including small sided games, a jumping castle, and much more!
Ticket prices are available at $15-$25 for adults, $10-$20 for children 12 and under along with military and students, children under the age of three are free, and VIP seating is $70 per ticket. The Austin Aztex are also offering a special ‘Family 4 Pack’ ticket promotion to encourage families to come out to the game that include food and beverage vouchers. On-site parking is $5.
